Ph.D. in Education: Eligibility

To pursue a Ph.D course in Education, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Education from a recognized university. Aspiring students must have masters in a related discipline such as M.A. in Education, M.Ed. in Education or M. Phil in Education with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D entrance test along with the interview.

For admission to the Ph.D. programme in Education department, minimum requirements are:

  • M.A./ M.Ed./ M. Phil in Education or related discipline
  • Aggregate 55% marks in the recently qualified examination along with qualifying Ph.D. entrance test conducted by respective institute or university.

Ph.D. in Education: Admission Process

In India, universities have rights to set their own procedure and standards for the Ph.D. programme admissions. But the set of requirements for the application are similar.

Ph.D. in Education: Eligibility

To pursue a Ph.D course in Education, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Education from a recognized university. Aspiring students must have masters in a related discipline such as M.A. in Education, M.Ed. in Education or M. Phil in Education with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D entrance test along with the interview.

For admission to the Ph.D. programme in Education department, minimum requirements are:

Ph.D. in Education: Admission Process
